Bar Review: Water Witch: The Latest Bar to Join the Greater Salt Lake City area (Central 9th)
Updated: Apr 13
If you are looking for a great first date spot in Salt Lake City look no further than Central 9th! This area is super up and coming and tons of new restaurants and bars to try out! (Snowmobile pizza, Sicon Cider, Blue Copper Coffee Room, The Pearl, Laziz Kitchen, Troubadour) with more on the way - this is a great place to check out!
Last Wednesday evening my friends and I decided to stop by and grab a beverage! Once we arrived we were immediately greeted by a super dope staff. As well as a curated playlist to match the vibe. I would have to say this may be my new favorite place to grab a casual drink when we know the night isn't going to get too rowdy! We all tried something new I had a Hot Todd the Witches take on a Hot Toddy, Rum and tonic, and a Tom Collins which might be my new favorite cocktail! The Tom Collins is uber light and an easy sipper consisting of gin, lemon juice, sugar, and club soda! A Gin and sparkling lemonade drink. What I loved most about The Witch is the prices! If you're not a big drinker don't worry they have N/A beer options and even plenty of mocktails!
Acme Bar Co.
On another note, the owners of Water Witch just purchased the Campfire Lounge located in Sugarhouse! Over the holiday season, they sure DECKED THE HALLS! I wish I knew about this because I would have loved to visit during the holiday season. The new bar is called Acme Bar Co. An “Ephemeral” bar concept. This season the pop-up is Suckerfish! Mashing together the messed-up minds of Water Witch and Island Time. Chef David Chon of NOHM presenting this immersive bar experience features a frequently
rotating menu offering food and curated cocktails. Defiantly going to have to check this one out! They are open Wednesday - Sunday 5 pm - Close
