Post Up at The Manhattan Beach Post

After spending the day resting and soaking up the rays in Southern California, dining at Manhattan Beach Post was exactly what I was looking for.

With Manhattan Beach Post being just steps from the beach, it cured my HANGER as soon as it set in. The crew is so warm, welcoming, and accommodating of everyone - even if you show up in board shorts!

Michelin - Star rated chef David LeFevre climbed the ladder of a few major kitchens around the world, including Charlie Trotter’s in Chicago.

After wrapping up traveling abroad and exploring some of the most diverse and distinguished kitchens. Chef settled in Los Angeles and was recruited as executive chef of the Water Grill located in downtown LA. Under LeFevre’s six-year culinary leadership, Water Grill earned a coveted Michelin Star in 2007 and then again in 2008, which only further solidified its reputation as one of Los Angeles’ premier destination restaurants.

Before making his debut on Iron Chef Gauntlet. Chef opened his own restaurant in the heart of Manhattan Beach California. LeFevre returned to his roots bringing a rustic, playful menu to Manhattan Beach Post (M.B. Post). These artisanal dishes complemented by artfully crafted cocktails and small batch wines. MBP Opened in April of 2011 and over the years MBP has received many awards and accolades such as:

Needless to say, I was very satisfied with my meal at MBP and will be making a return the next time I find myself in the South Bay! The menu is constantly changing to keep up with what is fresh and in the season which makes for a great place to get out of your comfort zone and try something new! If you are looking for a unique dining experience with tastefully curated dishes look no further than MBP! I’m sure you’ll have a great time exploring the flavorful Menu!
