A Taste of Salt Lake City: Eat Drink SLC
Salt Lake City’s thriving food and drink scene comes to life each September during the highly anticipated Eat Drink SLC event. Held over two magical evenings on the lush grounds of Tracy Aviary, this event is a vibrant celebration of the city’s finest culinary and cultural offerings. Mark your calendar for September 10 and 11, 2025, as the 11th Annual Eat Drink SLC promises an unforgettable experience for food lovers, art enthusiasts, and anyone looking to immerse themselves in the flavors of Salt Lake.
What Makes Eat Drink SLC Special?
Eat Drink SLC isn’t just another food festival. It’s a celebration of Salt Lake’s diverse food culture, a chance to experience chef-driven cuisine from locally owned restaurants, paired perfectly with craft beverages from the region’s most talented artisans. Each night brings a unique set of food and drink partners, so no two nights are the same. Whether you're savoring exquisite bites, sipping on locally crafted wine or beer, or exploring non-alcoholic beverage options, there’s something to excite every palate.
But the magic doesn’t stop with food and drink. Live music, dance performances, and other arts bring even more vibrancy to the event, making it a multi-sensory celebration of Salt Lake City’s creative community.
A Partnership with Purpose
Eat Drink SLC is much more than just a good time—it’s an event with heart. The festival is a collaboration between three local organizations: Tracy Aviary, SB Dance, and Vine Lore. Tracy Aviary, one of Salt Lake’s beloved non-profit organizations, provides the stunning venue while SB Dance, a creative force in the arts, brings a unique cultural element. Vine Lore, a local beverage company, connects the hospitality community, bringing together Salt Lake’s best purveyors of food and drink.
Each year, 50% of the proceeds from Eat Drink SLC are donated to a local nonprofit working with underserved communities. The 2024 beneficiary, New Roots SLC, is a vital program of the International Rescue Committee that empowers refugees and New Americans to celebrate their heritage through farming and community-based food programs. By supporting this cause, attendees are directly contributing to building a stronger, more inclusive Salt Lake City.
Supporting the Local Industry
Eat Drink SLC honors the entire local food ecosystem, from chefs and restaurant owners to purveyors, servers, and agricultural workers. Since its inception, the event has contributed over $100,000 to Salt Lake County nonprofits. This dedication to community support and celebration of local talent makes Eat Drink SLC a vital event for anyone who loves the culture and cuisine of Salt Lake.
Save the Date for 2025
Next year’s Eat Drink SLC is set to be bigger and better than ever. The event will take place on September 10 and 11, 2025, from 5:30-8 PM at Tracy Aviary. Tickets include signature glassware, all food and beverages, live entertainment, and an experience that’s sure to linger long after the evening ends. Due to high demand, tickets sell out quickly, so be sure to join the event’s email list for information on when they go on sale in June.
